These ex-maple barrels are filled with single barrel bourbon to add sweetness and complexity. The original bourbon is complimented by the thick sweetness of maple syrup resulting in a rich flavor with balance and copious amounts of burnt sugar on the finish.

NOSE: Warm maple syrup rises first, followed by caramelized sugar crust and fresh buttermilk pancakes. Roasted peanut butter and vanilla bean develop underneath, with light toasted oak and a hint of cinnamon sugar.
PALATE: Rich and coating. Creamy peanut butter leads into sweet maple drizzle and brûléed brown sugar. Mid-palate brings fluffy pancake batter, vanilla custard, and soft baking spice layered over a smooth wheated bourbon backbone.
